    This Is Cinerama

I came across two informational programs / catalogs for Lowell Thomas’ Cinerama theaters and have documented and uploaded them to the studio flickr site. They are pretty nice examples of Mid-Century design & illustration.

    Tugboat Printshop

I really enjoy the level of detail that goes into the work at Tugboat Printshop, and being able to see the woodcut carvings / work-in-progress images on their site makes the final prints all the more impressive.

    Oberlin College Art Rental

Oberlin College has an amazing art rental program available for its students. An original Picasso or Lichtenstein can be had for $5 a semester.

This program would have been a complete failure at my undergraduate school, the University of Dayton, as all the work would have been burned in dumpster fires on St. Patrick's Day.

Hmmm...I suddenly have the longing for sitting on a porch, listening to either Dave Matthews Band or Ginuwine (depending on the time of day), all while drinking a tepid Milwaukee's Best. Good times.
